You have a "home" you are heading to. Don't lose your way in the midst of temporary needs and distractions.

All the goals you work for will vanish at the moment you leave this temporary life. Nothing will remain but the things you've done for Allah. Invest in what lasts, not in what is temporary!

You fell? Get back up. You sinned? Make taubah. You drifted away? Return to Allah. You feel unworthy? Remember His mercy.

Your past sins don't have to define your future. Let your regret become the reason you return to Allah, not the reason you run away from Him. 🤍 Keep trying. Keep repenting. Keep becoming a better version of yourself for the sake of Allah. You can always turn back to your Rabb. 🌸

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When Allah created the Creation, He wrote in His Book--and He wrote (that) about Himself, and it is placed with Him on the Throne--'Verily My Mercy overcomes My Anger.'"

In Al-Fatihah I ask Allah, “Guide me to the straight path.” Then I turn the page, and the very first words are: “This is the Book... a guide.” My prayer was answered before I even finished asking. The guidance I’m searching for has been in my hands all along.

The verse says there is no doubt in this Book. When doubt enters my heart, the problem isn’t the Book. It’s something in me that needs fixing: my distractions, my desires, my distance from Allah.

And it says this guidance is for those who are mindful of Allah. That humbles me. The Quran is open to everyone, but its light only enters a heart that is ready to receive it. Rain falls on every land, but only good soil brings out life.

It's All About Your Intention (Niyyah)

In life, we see people doing good deeds, but we don't always know what their intentions are. Do they really care for you? Did they really mean what they said? And being rewarded for a good intention? This concept is unknown in this world. Everything is transactional.

Ar-Rum (30:39)

But with Allah, it's all about what's in your heart. A penny given for the sake of Allah is much more valuable than one given to earn the praise of others. And only when you truly do a deed for Allah do you gain the multiplied reward.

How beautiful is this?

No matter what the amount is, you need to detach yourself from the need for self-validation. You need to untie your

The companions of the cave sought guidance and in turn, Allah placed a seal upon their ears. It’s something I associate with what it means to pass through falsehood; it’s something I associate with what it means to be seen as an ear, as gullible by some, when you were simply being an ear to the good.

I could’ve spent my time looking at never ending cycle of corruption to be extracted from the news. Instead, I read the Art of War by Sun Tzu because of how it could be highly regarded within business and politics. I read In Sheep’s Clothing by George Simon to do with how subtle acts of aggression happen. I read The Field Guide to Lies and Statistics by Daniel J. Levitin to get a sense of how s

Allah describes the people of Paradise as those who believed and followed their belief with righteous deeds.

Belief is not passive, it is something that should be reflected in our actions. True belief calls us to do good.

Allah then reminds us that He does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. This makes me reflect on how, no matter what hardships I face or how occupied I may be with life, there are still opportunities for me to do good within my capacity.

I shouldn’t always use my circumstances as a reason for neglecting righteous deeds. Even when I cannot do much, I can still do something. And even if those deeds seem small or insignificant to me, they still matter. Allah knows my capa

Alhamdulillah, you say the truth. When we feel at our weakest, and in that moment decide to even lift the dust off the floor to beautify the environment, we can go back to Allah having said that no matter what the circumstance, we never allowed ourselves to become selfish, and to instead continue to strive for the best, no matter how little it felt like at the time.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Something that I was thinking about today was the sunrise and the sunset and the way Allah ﷻ says in surat Ar Rahman, in ayah 55:17,

رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ

"He is Lord of the two risings and Lord of the two settings."

One interpretation is that this refers to the way the sun shifts slightly to the left or the right along the horizon everyday, so that it has one extreme point of sunrise in the summer and another extreme to the left or right of it in the winter. The same goes for the two sunsets.

This means that the arc drawn by the sun along the sky is different everyday — so that on the shortest day in winter the arc is at its shortest, and

Allah has created you for something greater than the fleeting pleasures of this dunya. Never forget the purpose for which you were created, nor the return that awaits you.

Did you then think that We had created you without purpose?

Allah SWT gives us hardships in this dunya with the ultimate intention that it will bring us to the right path. Hardships are Allah’s way of pulling us back to Him through Tawakkul(unwavering trust in Allah), stripping away false security so we lean entirely on His care. Through Sabr(deep patience) these trials purify our past sins and elevate our rank, shaping us into resilient souls prepared for Jannah.

During the guided tour of Topkapi Palace, I was fascinated by the magnificent architecture and the stories of the Ottoman rulers. The guide explained how these great rulers made strategic decisions, expanded their empire, governed vast territories and made considerable efforts to preserve their power and legacy. As I listened to the stories of successive rulers and their achievements, a profound realisation came to my mind.

No matter how great an empire we build, how much power we possess or how magnificent our worldly achievements may be, eventually we will all return to Allah, the True Majestic Lord and Owner of the entire universe. The palaces we admire, the positions we hold and the lega
