Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 93 وَاشْرِبُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ describes a state where something is not just externally followed but becomes deeply absorbed into the heart so deeply that it begins to shape perception, preference and ultimately behavior. When I reflect on this ayah it becomes a question of what is being Absorbed into the heart today just like bani Israel have the love of (bechra ) because of their disbelief the hear filled with love of calf The heart is continuously shaped by repeated exposure experiences emotional investment and sustained attention. Whatever is repeatedly fed into it begins to occupy space that is ultimately meant for Allah. I observe the love of calf innour daily

Choose Your Company Wisely

Bishr al-Hafi رحمه الله said:

Keeping the company of bad people leads a person to think badly of good people. Al-Adab ash-Sharʿiyyah (1/79) The people around you shape your heart.

If you spend your time with those who mock righteousness, eventually righteousness itself will seem strange. Choose companions who remind you of Allah, not of the dunya. And keep yourself patiently with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face.

I imagine myself dead, standing before Allah, wishing for just one more chance to return to this world to pray more sincerely, repent more often, and use my time better.

Surah Al-Mu’minun And in that moment, I see the truth clearly. No more delay. No more excuses. Only regret for the time I wasted and the chances I ignored. I ask myself: • Am I really doing as much as I can right now? • Am I just getting used to delaying good deeds? • Can I still improve my prayers, my character, my r

I love reflecting on these verses and how repelling evil with good can transform the difficult situations we encounter regularly with family, colleagues, neighbors, and even strangers into moments of harmony and understanding. Yet, when I think about my own reality, I ask myself how much I truly put this into practice.

Even in the smallest situations, when someone expresses frustration or anger over something I perceive as unfair, I often find myself reacting in a way that falls short of what these verses teach. Then, only moments after an argument, it comes to mind that I should have controlled my anger or responded with greater gentleness. Sometimes when the other person responds kindly d

Today I noticed a beautiful theme in the Qur'an. Whenever Allah says:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ [Indeed, Allah loves the Muttaqeen (people of taqwa]

As far as I have noticed, this exact phrase appears three times in the Qur'an. What deeply moved me is that in all three passages, the central theme is about people who fulfill their promises, honor their covenants, and remain truthful to their word. Right after mentioning these qualities, Allah says that He loves the people of taqwa.

Isn't it beautiful? Allah associates taqwa with honesty, loyalty, and fulfilling our promises and agreements. When we speak about taqwa, we often overlook this quality, yet these ayaat remind us that o

VALUE AND POLISH THE TREASURE

We go to Allah as scattered and torn pieces of cloth, sometimes so broken that we do not even have the pieces needed to mend ourselves.

Yet the One who created us, the Fashioner and Restorer, gathers those scattered and missing pieces and restores them into something whole and beautiful again.

But the most important step is: We must take the cloth to Him for repair.

Ramadan is that blessed time when we turn to Him with our broken hearts. And in His endless mercy, He does not merely return the cloth repaired, but He adorns it with pearls and corals, beautifying it beyond what it was before.

So treasure what you have received from Him, out of His love, gener

As the trials of our times unfolds and we become accustomed to security alerts and hearing of successful interceptions by defense systems it makes me reflect on something deeper.

How well have we tuned our hearts to detect the incoming missiles sent by Shaytan? Are our internal warning systems being activated when these attacks approach? Do we take the means to intercept them?

The trials happening around the world today remind us of the warnings sent by Allah through His messengers. It becomes clear that deviating from Tawheed brings consequences, affecting us both inwardly and outwardly. These consequences may manifest as evil thoughts, wrongful desires, doubts, heedlessness, pride, ange

Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (رضي الله عنه) once asked the Prophet ﷺ: “What if the Muslims have no single leader and are divided into disputing groups?” The Prophet ﷺ replied that if there is no unified leadership or single jama‘ah, then one should stay away from those conflicting groups even if it means holding firmly to a tree until death. (Part of a longer hadith recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari)

When I reflect on this hadith in light of what we are witnessing today, it feels deeply relevant. Our ummah is visibly divided different voices, emotional reactions, and sometimes individuals or groups acting without legitimate authority. Yet the Sunnah does not teach chaos. It teaches discipline, unity

'Do not curse the devil, but instead speak the name of God.'

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explained that when you focus on cursing the devil, you give him too much weight and space. He grows in pride knowing that he has disturbed you. Instead speak the name of God and seek refuge in him (ie. Bismillah), and the devil will shrink to the size of a fly. Evil only occupies what we let it occupy. Satan is weak and can only whisper. Evil thrives on idleness and insecurity. Do not give space to anyone who wishes you harm, not in your thoughts nor in your hearts. Those that slander, those that deceive, those that seek to divert you, and those that seek to lead you astray. Focus on Your
