Brothers and sisters, my QuranReflect Family, there is no doubt that we are all grieving over the atrocities that unfold before our eyes in Gaza. At times like these and more so than ever, we need to fortify our Iman by consulting the words of Allah. Let us make dua that Allah grants peace to all those suffering in Palestine, and let us fortify our Iman by reflecting on Allah’s words which reminds us that victory can only come from Him and no injustice will go unchecked.

Three relations can be drawn between the Oaths and the story of the People of the Trench, The big stars are related the fire that the People of The Trench created to kill the believers. The oath by the Promised Day is related with the fact they the People of the Trench planned a day for the believers, and the oath by the witnessess and witnissed is related with the fact that the People wtinissed themselves killing the believers, the believers were witnessed being killed and Allah was a witness to everything

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَآۖ إِنَّنِى مَعَكُمَآ أَسۡمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ. ٢٠:٤٦ 'Allah reassured ˹them˺, 'Have no fear! I am with you, hearing and seeing.'

Really wanted to share this thought with my Quranreflect community and i wish and i hope in ALLAH that may He make these words reach to the people, i am writing this for. I was so disturbed and was feeling distress about the situation facing our muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine. I remember few days ago i just randomly got the Quran notification on my phone saying 'what is ALLAH telling you', i immediately opened that and it was surah Buruj.. i started reading it with translation.. ayah after ayah

The surah here refers to the pit event, which is when a community of believers who lived before the advent of Islam, said to be unitarian Christians, were faced by ruthless and tyrannical enemies who sought to force them away from their faith. The believers refused. The tyrants then lit a great fire in a pit they had dug, and threw them into it. The believers were thus burnt to death in front of large crowds that had gathered to witness this ghastly act of extermination, in just a few brief strokes.
