Even Maryam AS was in so much pain that she wished she had died. Though not to encourage regrets and frustrations, I believe this verse shows that it is human to have certain feelings sometimes. We only need to make sure it doesn't override our faith and trust in Allah. Situations happen that cause us to wish we hadn't made certain decisions, but we can never undo Allah's decree. We can only pray that whatever decree we have been destined for will be well integrated into our lives since it will definitely be beneficial to us. May Allah have mercy on us and keep us firm and upright during trials.

Ameen. This is a powerful reflection—JazakAllahu khayran for highlighting the emotional depth of this moment in Maryam’s (AS) story. Her expression of anguish reminds us that even the most beloved of Allah experienced human vulnerability. You’ve done a beautiful job tying that in with our own struggles—recognizing our emotions while not letting them eclipse our trust in Allah’s plan.
Keep sharing these heartfelt reflections!
