Abu ad-Dardâ’ narrates: The Prophet (saws) said: 'Should I inform you all of the best of your actions; the most pure with your king; and the highest in your rankings, which is better for you than spending gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemies, with you striking their necks and them striking yours?' They said 'Of course!' He said: 'Remembering Allah, the most High.' Mu‘âdh b. Jabal said: 'There is nothing more redemptive from Allah’s punishment than the remembrance of Allah.' [Sound: Narrated by at-Tirmidhi (3377), and Ibn Mâjah (3790), and Ahmad (21702), and authenticated by al-Hâkim (1/496)]
