The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever has even a mustard seed’s weight of arrogance in his heart will not enter Paradise.”

Why is arrogance so dangerous? Because true greatness and الكبرياء belong only to Allah. We, as human beings, have no right to be arrogant about anything. Suppose you are more educated than others, more beautiful, wealthier, or hold a higher status—just pause and reflect: are you truly the owner of any of these?

When someone praises knowledge, a God-conscious heart says, “Alhamdulillah, this is not mine—this is Allah’s mercy upon me.” When wealth is praised, a mindful servant says, “I am not the owner; I am only a trustee.” If one has power, they see it as a

The surah concludes with voices praising and glorifying God:

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth and the Lord of all the worlds. His alone is all supremacy in the heavens and the earth. He alone is the Almighty, the Wise. (Verses 36-37)

The praising voice declares God's Lordship over the universe: earth and heaven, mankind and jinn, birds and beasts, as well as everyone and everything. They are all under the care of one Lord who is totally in control. Praised is He for the care He takes of them all. The glorifying voice declares that all supremacy in the universe belongs to God alone. To Him bows every exalted tyrant, and to His power submits every rebe
