By Allah, Allah has surely kept His promise to His beloved Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. He never punished them while he صلى الله عليه وسلم was among them and He never punished us , so long as we sought forgiveness. Life did get difficult, some more than others, and the ummah was tested with many tyrants , and we are always tested with tyrants among ourselves, in our minds or physical beings. All of this was never a punishment, but rather a test. Something to drag us back to Allah or to get closer to Him. If a difficulty makes you closer to Allah, then it's indeed a blessing. استغفر الله العظيم الذي لا اله إلا هو الحي القيوم و أتوب إليه
