'In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful' I am recently going through extreme sickness and weakness that I didn't get time to post any reflection. I shall inshaAllah when I'll be healthy, or I get strength. May Allah grant me full health and heal my wounds. Ameen. From past 4 days, I was going through so much stress, along with all this sickness but still, there was one thing I noticed in me. Instead of complaining, I was saying 'Alhumdulillah Allah and I Trust You.' Just mentioning this because, this gratitude doesn't come in one day. It is a process and processes TAKES TIME. Practice gratitude everyday. Write only three things daily with 'Thank You Allah for this...' and write what you're grateful for. This was the only thing that gave me hope in all that dark days that ALLAH IS WITH ME and foremost to all, I trust Him. Not only believe in Him, 'TRUST' Him. It was just something came to my mind, so I shared it with you. The main point I'm going to discuss is... Today I went to hospital, and I was like 'InshaAllah I'll be healthy by taking medicine' but suddenly, when I crossed the corridor I saw on the wall written 'And He ˹alone˺ heals me when I am sick. (80)' I stopped for a while, and it really made me smile thinking about this dua of Ibrahim (A.S). He was so, so incredible person. I always love any discussion about Ibrahim (A.S). But! At the same time, there was another thing I did wrong. You guessed it, right! It was my thought about medicine. I was relying on medicine. And this Ayah made me think for the whole moment until I was out of hospital. This ayah was on my tongue. It's NOT the medicine, instead And He ˹alone˺ heals me when I am sick. (80) Every decision goes to Allah, the AL-Hakim and seek permission. When He allows, they happen. This is the MAIN POINT. Read again. 'ALL the decisions goes to their Lord and seek permission, then they happen'. So I have a question. Was it medicine who gives me or you, Shifaa? Or... It was He (alone)?
