If someone remembers us in their life, we naturally feel happy and valued—like when friends wish us happy birthday, call us, or include us in their plans ('Why didn’t we invite Ahmad?'). It feels good to be remembered because it means we matter to others. Similarly, when we remember and treat others well, it’s like doing a favor for ourselves—who doesn’t want to be good to themselves? In this verse, Allah says: 'Remember Me, and I will remember you.' The flip side? If we forget Allah in our daily lives, Allah will forget us too. Think about how lonely it feels when people forget us—now imagine if Allah, our Creator and Sustainer, forgot us. Our lives would feel empty and chaotic because He’s the One who guards us and provides our rizq. As believers, how could we ever want Allah to forget us? Remembering Allah isn’t optional; it’s proof we’re grateful servants. Forgetting Him means we’re ungrateful—failing to acknowledge the countless blessings He gives us daily: waking up healthy, seeing our children, having strength to work. But we often forget the One who granted all this. And here’s the danger: Forgetting leads to ingratitude. Ingratitude is kufr (disbelief). And kufr invites punishment. So, never let yourself forget. Because when Allah remembers you, everything falls into place. Wallahualam.

Sometimes it seems like a person cannot remember Allah enough within four walls. Then when I go out into nature and see other living things, my heart is filled with such peace... Maybe there is a lack of faith, I don't know.Wherever we are, we are granted the chance to remember Allah with the same peace. May Allah reward you with goodness.
