Bismillah. These two verses are amazing because of the situation we’re in right now. More than ever...this is the time to ask allah through dua and this is the time to pray more and pray extra salah like the sunnah prayers and tahajjud. This is the time to ask for forgiveness. In times like this...when we’re isolated from the world, it’s time to reflect and it’s time to really sit down and think about what we can do to better ourselves as Muslims. May Allah grant us all patience and allow us to make dua, pray more, ask for forgiveness and make tawbah. May Allah give us all patience in these difficult times and may he give us success in this life and the next.

surah Ibrahim

Bismillah Recently I came across a post where someone posted that they are doing dua for anyone who has no one to do dua. That point made me think how sad it is and most of the replies were Āmēn. After a while, I realized that everyone has someone to do dua. In this dua of Surah Ibrahim we are taught how to ask forgiveness for ourselves, then for our parents, and then for all believers. In another dua which we read in janazah salah, we are asking Allah to forgive all the living and the dead. Our Prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎ used to do dua for whole ummah. In Ramadan in Witr salah imam do dua collectively for the whole ummah. There are many other places whe

We often get so invested in praying for worldly gains that we forget to make supplication for our afterlife. That’s why I really love this supplication of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S): رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ 'Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day the account is established.' This supplication is not for this world but for the Hereafter - the future that is certain and bound to happen. We cannot enter paradise without Allah’s mercy, as our Prophet (PBUH) said: 'The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise.' They asked: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Not even me, unless

THIS IS AMAZING!!!! When you reflect on the previous verse (I'll paste mine below) : 'Allah swt goes BEYOND in answering this prayer because more than giving him descendants that pray, Allah swt placed the prophet Muhammad saw himself as a descended of Ibrahim a.s Prophet Muhammad saw, the one who prayed with all the previous prophets in the night of Laylatul israa. Prophet Muhammad saw, the one who , through Allah's swt command, established the ummah of millions upon million upon generations upon generations to pray 5 times a day.' You can see that having this verse right after the one before where we are proven of Allah's grand mercy is to also give us the assurance and appl

We don’t want our parents to be tortured in the grave.

We don’t want our parents to go to Jahannam.

Every child is concerned about their parents Akhirah. We must try our best to convince them to pray 5x a day, make sure they are paying Zakah, and fulfilling other obligations of Islam. The same way we are concerned about our Akhirah as well.

We are grown up children now, be a means of Sadaqah Jariah for your parents, after they die. Seek protection from the torment of the grave not only for yourselves, but your parents. Also, do not forget making dua for the general ummah, innocent brothers and sisters in Palestine and other parts of the world.

Islam is not restricted to your personal bou
