SubhanAllah when we see the different situations in which Prophets AS in the quran committed a mistake and returned to Allah in tawbah, he not only forgave them but elevated them to a status beyond where they were before. With Yunus AS he after his tawbah, he returned to his people whom Allah guided all 100,000 + of them. With Adam AS after his mistake, Allah chose him and guided him and made him a Prophet and a father for all humanity. With Dawood AS after his mistake in judgement and then his tawbah, Allah chose him as a khalifa and a just ruler in the earth. بسم اللّٰہ الرحمٰن الرحیم سلیمان علیہ السلام کی اس دعا سے مجھے کچھ سبق سیکھنے کو ملے جنہیں یہاں بیان کرنے جا رہی ہوں۔ سلیمان علیہ وسلم کو اللّٰہ تعالیٰ نے آزمایا اور انہوں نے اللّٰہ تعالیٰ کی طرف رجوع کرتے ہوئے استغفار کیا۔ وہ آزمائش کیا تھی، واللہ اعلم۔ تفاسیر میں اس کے متعلق اختلاف موجود ہے۔(1) اس سلسلے میں قرآن مجید میں اختصار کے ساتھ جو بتایا گیا ہے وہ جاننے کے لیے کافی ہے۔ سو قرآن میں اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ اور (دیکھو کہ) سلیمانؑ کو بھی ہم نے آزمائش میں ڈالا اور اس کی کرسی پر ایک جسد لا کر ڈال دیا پھر اس نے رجوع کیا اس کے بعد سلیمان علیہ السلام کے استغفار اور ان کی دعا کا ذکر کیا گیا
