Assalamu Alaikum warhmatullahi wabarakatuh! How many of us recite the Quran together in groups? How many of us are willing to take the time out of our day to share the barakah with our peers whilst reading the Quran? I want to tell you a story about how I started a Quran Journey Khatma. Bismillah. I noticed that a group of my schoolmates were meeting together weekly to recite the quran, but it wasn’t constant nor very engaging. They would read then leave, subhannalah. I wanted to make khatmas a little more engaging so that others would join. So, I collaborated with one of my friends to create the Quran Journey Khatma group. We would recite 30 mins. taking turns, then I would share of what I know of the gems of the quran, mashaalah. Then we would reflect upon it. Now where I’m going at is that, when you do things in groups, others will follow, and try to join you. People are drawn to groups. So when we started I expected it to be only 5 or 6 girls, but now, alhamdulilah, it is at nearing 20! See the blessings of sharing?

Waalaikumassalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu. MashaAllah! May Allah accept your efforts dear sister. It must be beautiful experience to recite the Qur'an in group. I ask Allah to also grant me such moments of reciting His Book in group.
