The past few days have been very difficult for me, leaving me without the strength to do anything. Whenever I tried to reflect, my mind and heart felt completely empty. Even the habit of reciting Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping had ended.
Last night, I felt a lot of anxiety, and two words kept echoing in my mind: 'Biyadihi Al-Mulk' — 'In His hand is the dominion.'
It made me realize that, yes, the dominion is indeed in His hands. Things may be beyond my control, and I may not have the power to improve them, but there is One who still has complete authority and always will. He is the Most Merciful, capable of changing everything, and every action of His carries wisdom and goodness.
At that moment, I understood why we are encouraged to recite this Surah every night. It contains so many reminders that we need on a daily basis.
And then I felt regret for neglecting Allah’s guidance because it’s always for our own benefit. How great a mistake it is to ignore His commands, when they are meant only for our well-being.
