As we embrace Ramadan, let us be reminded that the Quran is a revelation filled with guidance, mercy and assurance. 

We all need reassurance, for so many things that concern us, from financial security, to our relationships, the upbringing of our children and the list is endless.

No doubt, reassurance is something every heart longs for, Allah knows this need within us, so He filled His Book with promises that calm the heart and anchor the soul, as we constantly try to battle the fear of the unknown turns of life.

Reading the following advice really put into perspective how the Quran helps transform our insecurities into unwavering trust in Allah and His plan.

From Certainty to Clarity

How Surah آل عمران (Āl ʿImrān — The Family of Imran) completes what Surah البقرة (Al-Baqarah — The Cow) begins

There is a particular kind of silence that comes after certainty. Not the silence of doubt —
but the silence that asks: Now that you know… what will you do with it?

Surah البقرة (al-Baqarah) leaves you with something vast. A structure of belief.
 A framework for living.
 A map that is both complete and demanding. But it does not resolve everything. It cannot. Because certainty, on its own, is not the end of the journey. It is only the beginning of responsibility.

And this is where Surah آل عمران (Āl ʿImrān) begins. Not as a new chapter —
but as a respon

Giving 'Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned.' [Qur'an. 2:245] Nothing that we give is ever lost. At times we fear giving because it means that we 'lose' in the short-term. But God tells us what we give is like a 'goodly loan' and Allah returns it to us - whether in this life or the next - multiplied. When we give, we never lose. Giving can be monetary, of course, and it can also be giving from our time, from ourselves, from our possessions. All these things are dear to us, and we may want to guard them, but there is a sweetness to also sharing
