It can be frustrating at times when working with a group of people on a project that is ultimately for Allah swt's sake...sometimes to the point where you don't even feel like working with them at all. The start of this Ayah has always grounded, and reminded me to be patient with those who are doing good work. That part of doing something for His sake is to 'ista7mil' , and be patient with those folks who have good intentions. This I belive apply's to the community at large - that sometimes our communities are frustrating to deal with, but we still have to treat and ultimately work with them. TBH i'm still struggling with the question of 'How much slack do we cut them?' At what point do I draw the line and say, I cannot accept this level of frustration, and my patience has run out? Anyone have any insight? thoughts? practices to not bend in that direction?

This discussion is an important one. It is a bit less overlapping with what the verse talks about though. It has more to do with practical considerations and details more than concepts and virtues. However, to keep the discussion related to the verse, I think one would ask himself the following questions. What is the alternative to be invested with a group of good people? Is it another group of good people that call on Allah day and night too? For what reason am I running out of patience? Is it a reason mostly related to 'desiring luxuries of worldly life' or obeying those 'heedless' people?
