Life lessons from Surat Tawbah Part 2
#2Repentance Thrive with Repentance Surat Tawbah gives an overview of repentance of mushrikeen, hypocrites and believers. The door of repentance is always open. As shown in the story of Ka’b ibn Malik, repentance is about turning to Allah while He turns to us in Love and Mercy. Note that the Almighty divided His servants into repentant and evildoers. There is no 3rd category. Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'There is no believing servant but that he has a sin he habitually commits from time to time, or a sin abiding over him that he does not abandon until he departs the world. Verily, the believer was created to be tested, repenting and forgetful. If he is reminded, he will remember.' He demands humility, obedience, submissiveness, being conscious and aware of owns weaknesses and inability.
