Sometimes there is that one moment when someone says something that you need to hear. Perhaps you are sad, and your friend texts you randomly saying, 'You know, I really wish you the best,' for no apparent reason. Or you are going through a difficulty and attend a talk, and the sheikh says something that particularly resonates with you—'Sometimes Allah tests you so you will call on Him.' How did these people know to say these things, to remind you of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala (may He be glorified and exalted), when they had no idea what you were feeling or going through? That is Allah al-Lateef—He who is Benevolent, Gentle and Subtle with His servants. You may believe it is your friend

There is a difference between بصر and بصيرة. Basar is to see and baseera is the sight (perception). Sight is not tangible, but a perception. Scientifically, what we see is not actually what we see, but what we percieve is what we actually see. So for example, two people are looking at an image, one might see all the finest details and other might see nothing clearly because of blurry vision. Its because the connection between eye and brain was very effective for first person and all of the eye and brain organs were working fine for him, while for the second person, a cylindrical tilt was causing disturbance in vision because the nerves were not perfectly able to connect to the brain.

'Not a leaf falls but that He knows it.' The human brain has limits on its capacity to store information and pay attention to things. Therefore, we only remember and pay attention to those things around us that we think are important, meaningful, or interesting to ourselves. However, unlike us finite and mortal creatures, Allah the Most High is not limited in capacity in any way. Every leaf that falls, every drop of moisture that is in the air and in the ground, every single dust particle floating around but invisible to our eyes - Allah knows about it. In this beautiful verse Allah explains that none can see Him with their vision, but His vision encompasses all things. This shows pagans that you don’t have to see Allah to worship him. They may be able to see their idols and statues, however, those same idols and statues cannot see them.
