Abu Hurayrah narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: 'No one’s actions will enter him into Paradise.' They said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'No, not even me, unless Allah envelops me in bounty and mercy. So strive for precision and stay close [to it]. None of you must ever wish for death. If he did good, then perhaps he will increase in goodness, and if he is a sinner, then perhaps he will seek redemption.' [Agreed upon: Narrated by al-Bukhari (5673), and Muslim (2816:75)]
