And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Jacob] said, 'Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allāh is the one sought for help against that which you describe.' (12:18)
What caused Yaqub AS heartbreak was the same thing that ultimately brought him solace. His grief began with Yusuf AS's shirt and it ended with his shirt.
So, when came the man with good news, he put it (the shirt) on his face, and he turned into a sighted man. (12:96)
At times, the very concern that is a means of your sadness can be what brings about your happiness. The very element that brought you to your knees can be what will bring you joy. If your grief was caused by a person, that person can end up being your greatest supporter.
During that difficult period you may feel deeply saddened, overwhelmed and completely burnt out.
Yet
That difficult patch you underwent became a part of your equation, shaping the course of your life. That descent was building momentum for your ascent. If that was taken out of your equation, you would not be the person you are today.
So be grateful for the difficult people and situations now, for tomorrow, it will be your means of strength, bringing you joy, relief and comfort.🌹
