Everyone has some sort of duties in the world. We are created with obligations. Allah has assigned us with tasks that must be fulfilled. Besides, its not enough to be Muslim. Its also important to live like Muslim, In Arabic, meaning of the word 'Muslim' is the 'one who submits'. Saying Kalma is not enough. Allah wants us to act upon the Kalma and His words. Muslim means one who submits to command of Allah , one prefers the quran over his desires. As it is mentioned in Surah Ankboot Ayat 2 'Do the people think that they will be left to say, 'We believe' and they will not be tested?' Everyone has to prove his belief by acting on the Quran and Sunnah. Also, we have to fulfill Huqoq ul Ibad , rights of people[parents, neighbors, relatives , fellow beings.....] .Dealing with others according to Islamic principles is the most difficult in this modern era. Moreover, it wasn't enough for Prophets to be only believer and worship. Prophets were also given responsibilities to guide nation. for instance ,Hazrat Yunus was punished and swollen by whale because he left his nation without permission of Allah though Hazrat Yunus[A.S] was true believer and pious worshiper. 'Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy' Surah Safat ,ayah 142. May Allah make us to follow Quran in every aspect of life and make us among practicing Muslim. Amen
