بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

QURAN CLASS SERIES: your heart is still beating.

As Ustadh explained the context of the War of Tabuk, a profound realization struck me. Allah SWT reminded believers of their unwavering commitment to Him, trading wealth and lives for Paradise.

I introspected,

'Khadejah, do you truly value this covenant?' Do you really think you have time , why don’t you strive harder , why don’t you do more for those who are suffering . Do you want to be replaced by new set of people? What has deluded you so much that you got so far from you own Deen?'

As my hand rested on my neck, I felt the pulse of my carotid artery – my heart still beating.

In that instant, I recognized the gift of time , I can do so much more , I can strive harder for the cause of Allah SWT.

This Dunya is temporary and it will pass But the Hereafter is eternal .

Allah SWT has granted us respite; we still have time. He expects us to utilize it wisely.

May He SWT allow us to be of those who have their eyes set on Akhirah . ameen.

Masha'Allah! What a beautifully profound reflection. You’ve reminded us of the precious time Allah has granted us and the importance of valuing our commitment to Him. Reflecting on the temporary nature of this world versus the eternal Hereafter is truly essential. As long as our hearts are still beating, it's a gift and an opportunity from Allah to strive harder in His cause. May Allah make us among those who focus on the Hereafter and fulfill our covenant with Him. JazakAllah Khair for such a powerful reminder!
