Bismillah. Here's something very important to contemplate about. When we do things, who are we really doing them for? Like actually think about it. Who are we REALLY doing it for? Is it for people or for our Creator? This might seem like a simple question, but it's really important. Doing things just to get praise from people can lead us down the wrong path. This is a kind of shirk. There are two types of shirk. One of them is worshipping someone else with Allah (SWT). But it can also be looking for attention from others. Think about this: someone might take a long time in their Salah, not because they're looking to please Allah, but so that others will praise them. But actually conte

My heart is beating hard on my chest I can feel the earth vibrating under my feet I look up. My fear takes over, I'm put to the extreme test Then I hear an explosion My house crashing, my siblings falling Everything happens in slow motion Fear fizzles inside of me A shock shoots up my spine Then it ends. But what do I see? My house is crumbled Everything is ruined Everything turned to ashes and rubble... Pray for the brothers and sisters in Palestine, and may Allah, one day grant them freedom, and may Allah have mercy on them and grant all of them Jannah, ameen.
Oh how I fear death, I fear for when it comes, When we are six feet under, Rotted, until we are just bones, Have I done enough good deeds? Have I pleased Allah? Will the Angels pull my soul out smoothly or harshly? Have I fulfilled my duty, have I done all my salah? Ya Allah protect me from the fire, Ya Allah grant me Jannah, Ya Allah forgive all my sins! For how I fear death I will regret my bad deeds when I die, Oh how shameful, shameful, I’m ashamed, Oh all of those tears I cried, this is not enough, Oh I gravely fear death! All of these trivial matters, All of these worldly things, These fake happinesses, These worldly desires Save me from the he
...Through the bombs, They stay strong, Finding courage where they belong, Turning away from all wrong, Singing a deep freedom song, In the night, all along, Dreams oh so vivid, dreams so so long, Holding on, though it’s way, way prolonged, Facing days so dark and long, Their hearts, forever strong, Voices rising, like a gong, Hope’s flame, always strong, Peace they seek, for so long, In their minds, they belong, Until they right the wrong, Freedom’s bell, they long. Sabr. Patience. This reminds us, SubhanAllah to have Sabr. Palestinians are holding on tight to their Sabr, not letting any bombs, any words, any actions, or anything at all shake them. May Allah make it easy for them. And may w
...Hope rises in Palestine’s skies, Amidst the tears, the endless cries. We stay strong and bold, Ignoring all of the lies told. I have HOPE!
Olive trees stand tall and proud, Peace wins above the crowd. Through the rubble, through the pain, Hope shines bright like morning rain. I have HOPE!
Hold tight to your dreams, Of courage, fierce and bold, For in every tear and sigh, Hope will never die.
From mountains high to seas so so wide, Hope and justice side by side. In the hearts, a steady beat, Hope and love refuse defeat.
I. Have. HOPE!
All of us SubhanAllah have hope in Allah Subhana Wa Ta'allah. This reminds us to have trust in Allah that He will make the situation better.
Every day through the crumbling homes, Every day with all the toxic drones, Every day walking through dead animal bones, I, a Palestinian child, every single day, has feelings. Happiness, For the seeds newly planted, For the rain that has landed, For the blessings Allah has granted Gratefulness, For the wind blowing, For the children playing and laughing, For the air I am breathing Affection, For the land that is my heart's direction, For my parents, my soul's reflection, For the memories, my mind's collection Sadness, For my heart painfully aching, For my soul shattering and breaking, For my fear trembling and shaking Anger, For all of my family b
...I feel the blood in my veins gushing I feel the ground under me shaking I feel the wind blowing But I also feel freedom I smell the smoke that has contaminated the air I smell the sweet watermelon that has been cut I smell the freshly baked bread for dinner But I also smell freedom I hear the cries of many I hear the bombs exploding I hear soldiers coming But I also hear freedom I taste the bitterness of the olives I taste the sweetness of the watermelons I taste the coolness of the water But I also taste freedom I see the children crying I see the mud walled houses I see the olive trees growing But I also see freedom! Many Palestinians die. A small amount of the oppressors die. But what do the Palestinians say? They do not say, 'Life is not fair! Why does Allah have to do this to me?' No, they instead say 'Alhamdulillah. This makes me more patient. This is just a test. And I know that there is a reward for me with Allah. Everything, good and bad is in Allah's hands.' This shows us that we should be grateful, even when something bad happens to us. Innah Lilahi Wa Innah Ilayhi Raji'un. Ya Allah, Free Palestine! Ameen!
Surah Al-Asr starts by swearing an oath by 'time' وَالْعَصْرِ showing us just how important time is. Everyone, every single human being has time. No one on this earth does not have time! Use it wisely. Whether it’s a short amount of time of a long amount of time. But it's also something that, once gone, we can't ever get back. So, the Surah is reminding us to not waste our time. All mankind is in a state of loss. Except for the people who do righteous deeds. This reminds us that we should always do good things. Before time runs out. And always keep death in mind. Because the clock is ticking…
Eid is soon. In fact, Eid is really, really soon. It will come faster than we can keep up with. But let me ask you a question real quick. Will you continue your habits that you developed in Ramadan, or will you let them go? Ramadan is a month that you take good habits out, and you carry them with you for the rest of the year. Ramadan is not a month that you will do good habits in, and then you let them go because you think its not worth having them anymore. Do not let that happen, and after this month, keep in practice!
Jazakallahu Khair! Wassalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu!!!
'When the trumpet is blown with a single blast, and the earth and the mountains are lifted up and then let fall in a single crash...'. This verse talks about the end of the world. It's really scary because it reminds us that everything we know will one day end. On that day, everyone will look up with terror, knowing what day it is and what will happen...but they will not know what will happen to them.
Always remember... 1 night better than 83+ years. 1 hour better than 9.8 years 1 minute better than 58 days 1 second better than 23 hours. Lets try to do our absolute best this Ramadan بإذن الله تعالى!
Imagine you're really, really hungry. You know that feeling when your stomach is growling, and it feels like it's been ages since you last ate? But in Jahannam its a lot worse. Now, imagine the only thing available to eat is a fruit from the Shajarah Al Zaqqum. It's a fruit that looks like a devil's head, and it tastes even worse than it looks. When you eat the fruit, it just makes your stomach fill up with more emptiness. And the taste, it's just so, so awful. Shajjarah Al Zaqqum is mentioned in Surah Al-Dukhan (44:43-46), Surah Al-Saffat (37:62-68), and Surah Al-Ghashiyah (88:6-7).

Thank you for sharing this reflection on the descriptions of the punishment in Jahannam related to Shajarah Al Zaqqum. It serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of wrongdoing and the importance of seeking Allah's mercy and forgiveness. Your reflection encourages us to reflect on our actions and strive towards righteousness. Jazak Allah Khair for sharing this powerful reminder.
