Surah al isra is such a beautiful surah and I love how it starts with explaining the isra wal miraj where the prophet goes on the miraculous night journey to Jerelusm and then on to the seven heavens. This is now even more significant to us. When we see what is going on in Gaza and palestine right now it really breaks many of our hearts. But Al quds is a city of Prophets and it was especially chosen for the special special ascension that gave us our five daily prayers subhanallah! -Khadijah Shebib (Part of the Quran Journey Girls)
