'Humble beginnings' is what comes to my mind when I read this verse. What really is there to be proud or arrogant about? The clear description of how I came to be is all written in this verse and it also ends with all the possible endings according to Allah's will. This verse calls for humility, it shows the true fragility of humans and what we are made up of. When you think of how fragile we are it makes you wonder how/why we do not rely on Allah a lot more for every single thing. What we have become and what we will become is only a result of His will. By ourselves, we are just souls covered up with flesh and bones. Our lives start and end with Him. May we never forget who brought us here

(The earth that was once lifeless but when Allah send rain down upon it) : (the earth) shook , rose and sprouted..{22:5} ٱهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنۢبَتَتْ When you put water in the soil , very slowly at one point the earth shakes because the plant is about to sprout and tiny particles of soil begin to move out . Then it (the earth) rises just a bit before it fully sprouts. And once it sprouts ; life begins. Everytime the earth shakes , rises and sprouts that's life coming out of the dead. In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, I have come to Surah Al Hajj, and I found myself repeating this ayah over and over again. A lengthy ayah about how Allah SWT has created mankind, the state of mankind, life and death, the stages of the creation of mankind. Whenever I read this ayah it fills me with so much awe and inspiration. This ayah calls anyone into question who does not believe in the last day and the resurrection and Allah swt provides proof for his claims by laying out something that people did not know at that time. Knowledge of how an embryo grows and the stages that it goes through was not something that the Quraysh had 1400 years ago and so Allah swt gave them the insight into how we are born - how he brings us into the world the first time around.
