One of Allah’s names is Arrazaq, 'the Provider'. When we hear the word Rizq 'provision', all what we think of is wealth. However, there are great forms of provision that we don’t pay any attention to. The tranquility and calmness of your soul, having a healthy body, having a mother who makes duaa for you, an encounter with a love one, the existence of a sibling, the priceless laughter of your child, To have a good sincere friend, to pray on time every single day, the blessing of sight & hearing, the ability to speak, the ability to have a good night sleep, and the list goes on and on. Grief isn’t always relating to physical death; we can also mourn the end of relationships, identities, or dreams. Mourning is love that feels like it has nowhere to go.
