'Hell is enough for them-they will burn in it. And what an evil destination!' The final part of this verse serves as both a warning to the oppressors and a source of comfort for the oppressed. Every day, we are deeply pained by the suffering endured by the people of Gaza, the torture faced by prisoners in Syria (I can’t stop thinking of the horrors that Mazan Al-Hamada endured-May Allah (SWT) accept him as a shaheed), the injustice done to Dr. Aafia Siddiqui (may Allah (SWT) grant her freedom), the persecution of the Uyghurs, the oppression of the people of Sudan, and the countless others suffering around the world, many of whose names only Allah (SWT) knows. Their pain weighs heavily on our hearts, and at times, we may wonder: Will the punishment for their oppressors suffice? Allah (SWT) assures us that the Hellfire will be 'enough for them.' This is not just a punishment but a fitting consequence for their crimes. It also emphasizes the finality of the judgement they will face, indicating that there will be no escape or reprieve once they face the consequences of their actions. May Allah (SWT) exact HIS perfect revenege on all the oppressors.
