'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.' When Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was thrown into the fire, he uttered these words: 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.' Later, in the face of an overwhelming threat, the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and his companions were told that a great army had gathered against them. But instead of fear, this warning only strengthened their faith. As mentioned in the Qur'an (3:173), they responded: 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.' No matter what difficulties we face—be they emotional, physical, financial, or spiritual—we must stand firm with this truth, just as Ibrahim (AS) and Muhammad (SAWS) did. How Do We Stand Firm With This? The key is frequent repetition. Just as we repeat the alphabet to internalize it while learning, we need to do the same with this phrase. Say it often—when you're anxious, when you're calm, when you’re unsure. Let it roll off your tongue until it becomes a part of your heart. Why Should We Believe It? Because Allah SWT is greater than every problem we face. He SWT is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. If He SWT created mountains, oceans, the sky, and all living things, what can possibly limit Him in helping us? If Allah: Split the sea for Musa (AS), Cooled the fire for Ibrahim (AS), And granted victory to a small, outnumbered group at the battle of Badr then He SWT can certainly handle our struggles—no matter how impossible they may seem to us. Let This Be Our Reminder When the world feels heavy, when you're tested, or when your path is unclear—turn to this beautiful declaration of trust: 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.' Because truly, He SWT is enough.
