وَاَحۡسِنُوۡا-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ' and do good . Truly, Allah loves the doers of Ihsaan (the muhsineen)' (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:195). بسم الله! سبتمبر - ٢٥ / ٢٣ الصلاة والسلام على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين ! السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته My Reflection! Ihsaan and Its Profound Impact ! Ihsaan, as defined in the famous Hadith Jibril ( when Jibril عليه السلام came in a human form ) means to worship Allah as though you see Him and though you do not see Him, know that He surely sees you. Subhan Allah, This definition elevates a believer’s faith from mere outward practice to a state of deep consciousness, sincerity and excellence. It is the highest level of faith where actions are not performed mechanically, but with full awareness of Allah’s presence. Ihsaan should be part of my life , as a Muslimah, a believing woman, not only visible in my ibadah and my one to one relationship with Allah سبحانه وتعالى but also it should manifest in how we treat our families, neighbors, colleagues and even strangers. Allah سبحانه وتعالى commands: 'Indeed, Allah commands justice, Ihsaan, and giving to relatives' (Surah An-Nahl 16:90). Who among us doesn’t want to be beloved to Allah, there fore , The Qur’an repeatedly emphasizes the importance of Ihsaan, describing it as a quality beloved to Allah ( سبحانه وتعالى). وَاَحۡسِنُوۡا-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ Allah سبحانه وتعالى says: and do good . Truly, Allah loves the doers of Ihsaan (the muhsineen)' (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:195). Furthermore, Allah reassures us: 'For those who do Ihsaan is the best reward, and even more' (Surah Yunus 10:26), This love from Allah سبحانه وتعالى is not only an honor but also a source of divine protection, mercy and guidance as well as a reason to enter Jannah and most importantly, the greatest blessing of seeing Him سبحانه وتعالى If we ponder upon the idea of Ihsaan deeply , we recognize that Allah Himself is the ultimate a Muhsin محسن. His creation of the heavens and the earth, His perfect design of mankind, His continuous mercy, forgivenessًand sustenance, all reflect His Ihsaan upon His slaves. Allah سبحانه وتعالى reminds us: 'And He has perfected (ahsana) your creation and your form' (Surah Ghafir 40:64). Every blessing we enjoy is a manifestation of His endless Ihsaan, which should inspire us to respond with gratitude and strive to embody excellence in our servitude. Now the question arises that how should I apply the concept of Ihsaan in my life. So Applying Ihsaan in my own life means bringing excellence, sincerity and awareness of Allah سبحانه وتعالى into both my worship as well as and my daily actions. I have divided into a few aspects of my life. 1- Ihsaan in Worship :- When I pray, I remind myself that Allah is watching and listening to me, even if I cannot see Him. This changes my prayer from a routine act into a heartfelt conversation. When I recite Qur’an Al Kareem , I recite it with presence of heart, reflecting on its meanings, not just its words. 2 :- Ihsaan in my Character :- that I strive to show kindness, patience صبر and forgiveness to people, even when they wrong me. The Prophet صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم said, 'The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others. I try to control my anger and replace it with mercy and humility as I want Allah سبحانه وتعالى to treat me with same mercy and fadal. 3- Ihsaan in my Work and Responsibilities: Whatever task I am given as my responsibility, whether related to my academics, work or home, I aim to do it with sincerity and put my best effort, not for praise but to please my Rub, Allah سبحانه وتعالى I remember the Qur’anic guidance: 'Indeed, Allah loves those who rely upon Him and those who excel (do Ihsaan)' (Aal-e-Imran 3:159). 4:- Ihsaan in my Personal or Private Life I strive to guard my thoughts and my Niyyah ( intentions) . The most powerful form of Ihsaan , applicable to my private life to me is ' Doing the right thing when no one sees me except Allah سبحانه وتعالى and that is the true spirit of Ihsaan. When I make dhikr or du‘a , I find Allah close to me , I do that regularly, filling my heart with awareness of Allah’s nearness. 5 :- Ihsaan Towards Myself! We try to play each n every role, given to us in dunya but as a devoted person, the only one, we forget is our own self. So I need to treat myself with Ihsaan too. I treat my body as a trust, eating well, sleeping properly and maintaining personal care n cleanliness, because Allah loves those who purify themselves. More then body , I guard my soul روح by avoiding sins, protecting my eyes, ears and tongue from what displeases Allah. Subhan Allah, In short, applying Ihsaan means living every moment with the awareness that Allah sees me and striving to give the best of myself, in worship, in character, in work and even in private life. Over time, this will shape my personality into one that is balanced, sincere and beloved to Allah and people بإذن الله تعالى Jazakum Allahu khayrn for your time to read this.
