As we navigate this world we should be mindful of Allah at all times; for no doubt, Satan has empowered people to have a false appeal to other people and people are immersed in the evils of the times. Those who strive to stay out of the confusion and delusions are looked at as being strange. For those of us who are wise, we are okay with that because the prophet (PBUH) said we should be in this world as if we are strangers. Those who are mindful of Allah know that this world is just a probationary temporary existence that should be governed by the guidance that has been sent to mankind from Allah. Unfortunately, once people come into a state of understanding and can make decisions they are influenced by things that lead them to follow their lower nafs, desires. People must at some point realize that just seeking food, clothing, shelter, and the influences of worldly things do not put them in much of a higher position than animals. These things, the materials things of this world are only for our convenience to use to cultivate our souls and our spiritual selves. It is through having encounters with these material things and people on this earth that we are allowed to make decisions and choices. It is those decisions and choices that we make as a result of these experiences that we will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment. That day we will either be rewarded or punished and from there we will go either to Jennah or Jahannam. Those who are mindful of Allah should always remember that it is Allah who provides for whomever He wills without limits. Each believer should always keep this in mind since they are also in this world of things that are made appealing, they should remember, recall, and know that Allah is ever-present, all-knowing, and the provider for the needs of the believer. The believer must also realize that all we see that is appealing may not be good for us and what is good for us may not seem pleasing; that is why we seek Allah to be with us at all times and not to leave us not even for the blink of an eye. Believers have been given many ropes to hold on to on this journey, to give us mental stability on this obstacle course of life. Therefore, the believer knows that what passes them by was not for them and that what is for them will not pass them by. May Allah bless the believers to keep the real focus on what is best and most pleasing to Allah, for good in this world and the next.
