Abu Sa‘eed narrates that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: 'Regarding the people of the hellfire, they are those who deserved it, and they will neither die nor live therein. But for some people whom the fire has struck because of their sins (or he said: 'Their errors'), [Allah] will cause them to die once. Then when they are burnt to a crisp, intercession will be allowed for them. They will be brought forth group by group, and they will be spread out along the the rivers of Paradise. Then it will be said: ‘O people of Paradise, pour onto them,’ and they will grow like a seedling on the riverbank.' A man from among the people said: '[It seems] as if the Messenger of Allah was in the desert.' [Authentic: Narrated by Muslim 185)]
