At moments like these I wish I was eloquent. I can’t explain how this fascinates me and how to explain this. Looking at the order of creation in this ayah brings me to tears. Allah made us from clay then made us from a drop of sperm. First thing. Clay nothing revered, as if to say we were created with nothing but mud. Then sperm which again is of no consequence. ( I can’t remember properly but I am thinking of a place where Allah mentioned semen being dirty water. May Allah help me remember better) AND YET! He calls us ashraf ul makhlooqat. Second thing I notice is this body of mine was created by Allah! Himself. I was once up in the heavens with my Rubb. Lessons I derive are: what we see as having lesser or no value. My Allah creates the best from it! He alone has the power to elevate someone or something despite the seemingly humblest of backgrounds. It completely shifts the paradigm of my thinking. Nothing absolutely nothing is without importance or significance. Second next time you berate yourself and feel low. Think who created you and where were you created. Heavens…. By Allah Himself! It beings such a joy to my heart. I realise the fact that when Allah says this world is temporary you do not belong here. I belong elsewhere I came from another place altogether. All I wish for is to be returned to my original place to the my only Rubb! My Khalaq My Badi My Khaliq! Bi iznillah

Walaikum Mus salam. JazakAllah khair. Another thing I was thinking is how Allah puts our existence in this world in perspective. Imagine we came from elsewhere. Our existence here is only like a short period between azan and salah. We come into this world our azan is given we leave this world no azan is given but our salah is done. I can’t get my mind off this how we forget where we belong where we are from. This is not our true home!
