Day 9: The Lens of Quranic Worlds (part 3) [ Follow the series:
www.quranreflect.com/5lenses]
When I tell you that we need to do our best to immerse ourselves in the 'worlds' which the Quran presents to us, I am only following exactly what numerous ayat call on us to do. To know about historical nations, and especially to take a lesson from what happened to the wrongdoers, the repeated refrain is سيروا – literally WALK through the land and gather that knowledge. We can extend this instruction to all available means of research.
{Similar situations came to pass before you, so travel throughout the land and see the fate of the deniers.} (3:137) {Have they not traveled throughout

I have been extremely blessed to be able to travel. My latest trails have included cities in Italy and Spain. I saw UNESCO world heritage cathedrals and museums; and also the magnificent palace and the enchanting gardens of Al Hambra.
The majestic cathedrals in Florence and their detailed frescoes is an awesome sight to behold. Whilst the cool gardens full of green foliage provided a gorgeous landscape for the Moorish-inspired palaces and water fountains in Al Hambra.
After leaving Andalucia, I had a niggling thought that just would not leave my head. It seemed to me that the Muslims tried to replicate Jannah as depicted in the Quran. The lush green foliage; the gushing waters that flowe

Day 20: When you are not able, turn to the One who is Able - Allah al-Qadīr Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ 'Travel throughout the land and see how He originated the creation, then Allah will bring it into being one more time. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything. (29:20) In this amazing verse, Allah tells us to travel, look around us, and ponder. This reflection - how Allah created everything from nothing - should truly make us in awe of Him - truly Allah is Capable (Qadīr) of all things. Knowing that Allah is All-Powerful, the Most Able, should teach us who to turn to when we face insurmountable obstacles. Whatever difficulty we face, we can overcome it if we seek strength from Him - perh

Alhumdulillah I just got back from Europe where I had the amazing opportunity to visit 8 different countries. While travelling I saw so many different beautiful places, from the mountains of Switzerland to the beaches of Portugal, and met so many amazing people along the way. The experiences that I had on this trip reminded me of these 2 Ayat in the Quran. Travelling the world is such huge blessing, being able to see the amazing creations of Allah, pondering on the magnitude of his power, while also meeting so many different types of people. Allah could have made the earth simple and full of flat planes, and he could have made everyone look the same, but he didn't, and there is wisdo
