When you land in your grave, whatever sin you had left in this duniya and the effects of it, you will be punished for it.

Allah does not owe us anything.

Whatever sin you are committing does not affect Allah, the Self-Sufficient, but your own soul.

Unless Allah forgives you.

So, be careful while uttering a bad word to someone, you don’t know it may cause that person to be depressed to the extent of laying in bed for days, or even shattering his/her confidence.

One word can break a person’s confidence, he/she can become insecure.

Thinking about Allah is the true reality, this Duniya is a separation and distraction from our ultimate purpose, meeting our Rabb!

Do not please the creation, please the One who sustains the creation!

Do not worry, think of the One who created thought!

The torment, squeezing and terror that happens in the grave. These are also things by means of which sins are expiated.

Also, the horrors, distress and hardship of the Day of Resurrection.

If you are scared of the punishment of the grave, read this:

We are not supposed to be scared of death.

Because Allah is our wali and protector, why should we fear the grave?

We should fear Him only, and in return grave is just a spot of transit while Allah will not do injustice to you!

You think you will be punished in the grave as to the likes of squeezing till ribs are interlocked, hammers on your face, snakes and scorpions inside your nose, but Allah says:

Why should Allah punish you if you are grateful and faithful? Allah is ever Appreciative, All-Knowing. [Quran 4:147]

Who else other than Allah can protect you from the punishment of the grave or hereafter?

Who else other Allah can forgive your sins while the people of this duniya are merciless to you?

He is the only One you can rely on.

Make dua to Allah not cause you to die during a sin. This should be one of the biggest fears of our lives.

Leave the specifications of Jannah, its rewards, joys. That’s a filler to the ultimate triumph which is being saved from hellfire.

Once Allah decrees it for you, you can never thank Him enough for rewarding you an infinite lifetime.
