It’s not always necessary that what reaches you was ever meant to stay. You might even possess it for a while… only to lose it again. But truthfully? You can’t lose what was never yours in the first place.

Yes, you might’ve made plans, waited in excitement, and held hope in your heart but it slipped through your hands before it was even yours to hold.

This is what we call Qadr. Naseeb. Divine decree.

Why? Because Allah knows what’s best for you. And if it had truly been good for you,you would have had it.

His wisdom is far beyond what we can ever comprehend.

Maybe someone else needed it more. Maybe they were more deserving in Allah’s eyes. And maybe, just maybe, this was Allah’s way of protecting you from something your heart couldn’t see.

But here’s the test: Don’t let jealousy creep into your heart. Yes, it’s humane to feel that pinch. But it cannot be in the nature of a true believer,a mo’min.

لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ 'None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.' (Bukhari & Muslim)

A believer rejoices in the happiness of others.Sometimes, sacrificing what you love for someone else is the purest sign of faith.

And what does Allah want from you right now?

Tawakkul. Trust. Ridha, to be content with His decree. So say, ‎رَضِيُتُ بِاللٰهِ رَبَّاءَ بِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيْنَاوَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا I am content with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (SallaAllahu 'alayhi wasallam) as my Prophet.

The Prophet ﷺ said:'True patience is at the first strike of calamity.' (Sahih al-Bukhari)

There’s divine peace in surrendering to what Allah has written. Because resisting it only brings heartache, but submitting to it brings healing. So rest your heart. What was meant for you will never miss you. And what missed you… was never yours to begin with.

So just trust his process, because what you’re going to have will definitely better than what you’ve lost
