Tadabur on ayah 124 of surah Taha:And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and We will gather [i.e., raise] him on the Day of Resurrection blind.' But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life,1 then We will raise them up blind on the Day of Judgment.' In this ayah ALLAH SWT tells us whoever turns away from the remembrance of ALLAH SWT he will have a difficult life. Remembrance of ALLAH SWT not just the akzars but remembrance of ALLAH SWT is also the rules and laws of ALLAH SWT. Lets ponder first how zikar changes our mind soul then we ponder over how laws affect our lives. Zikr, the remembrance of God in Islam, is believed to have profound positive effects on the human mind, brain, and soul. It can lead to increased tranquility, reduced stress and anxiety, improved emotional regulation, and a greater sense of inner peace. Scientifically, dhikr practices have been linked to changes in brainwave patterns, particularly an increase in alpha and beta waves, which are associated with relaxation and focus. Effects on the Mind and Brain: Reduced Stress and Anxiety: Dhikr can calm the mind and reduce the production of stress hormones, leading to a sense of relaxation and well-being. Improved Emotional Regulation: By focusing on remembrance, individuals can learn to manage their emotions more effectively, leading to greater stability and control over their actions. Enhanced Cognitive Function: Some studies suggest that memorizing religious texts like the Quran through dhikr can improve cognitive functions like memory and attention. Brainwave Entrainment: The repetition of phrases in dhikr can influence brainwave patterns, promoting a state of calm and focus by balancing alpha and beta waves. Positive Neural Changes: Research indicates that dhikr can lead to structural changes in the brain, such as increased neural connections, particularly in individuals who engage in regular practice. Effects on the Soul: Spiritual Nourishment: Dhikr is a way to connect with the divine, fostering a sense of spiritual meaning and contentment. Inner Peace and Tranquility: The practice of dhikr is believed to cultivate inner peace, providing a sense of calm and serenity amidst life's challenges. Purification of the Heart: Dhikr is seen as a means of purifying the heart, removing negative influences and cultivating positive qualities like patience, gratitude, and compassion. Closer Connection with God: Through dhikr, individuals can deepen their relationship with God and experience a greater sense of spiritual awareness. Emotional and Spiritual Healing: Dhikr is believed to have healing properties for both the mind and the soul, helping individuals overcome emotional distress and find solace in their faith. Now lets ponder over how rules of ALLAH SWT affects our lives: The rules of Allah SWT, as derived from the Quran and Sunnah, significantly impact society by providing a comprehensive framework for ethical behavior, social justice, and spiritual development. These rules, when implemented, foster unity, compassion, and responsibility within communities, promoting a just and harmonious social order. Ethical Framework and Moral Guidance: Islamic teachings offer a clear moral compass, guiding individuals towards virtues like kindness, honesty, fairness, and compassion. The concept of accountability to God encourages self-discipline and responsible behavior, promoting a more ethical society. These values are crucial for building strong and healthy relationships within families, communities, and workplaces. Social Justice and Equity: Islamic principles emphasize justice, fairness, and equality for all individuals, regardless of their background. The concept of Zakat (charity) ensures the well-being of the less fortunate and reduces social disparities. Islamic law provides guidelines for fair trade, honest business practices, and the protection of vulnerable groups. Community Building and Unity: Islamic values promote unity and brotherhood among Muslims, transcending differences in race, nationality, or social status. The emphasis on collective responsibility encourages cooperation and mutual support within the community. Practices like prayer and pilgrimage (Hajj) strengthen social bonds and foster a sense of belonging. See how remembrance of ALLAH SWT changes our mind and soul ,how following the rules and laws of ALLAH SWT changes our society. If we do not remember ALLAH SWT a lot then we would have life of misery and full of emotional trauma and if we do not implement the laws of ALLAH SWT on our self and on the state or world level then this world will be full of injustice and violence. May ALLLAH SWT guide us to the straight path and help us to remember HIM SWT and implement HIS SWT laws on the whole world Ameen sum Ameen! Regards : Ayesha Zafar Jazzakumulahu khairan kaseerah!
