In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. By the mercy of Allaah, I have reached quite slowly Surah Hud. I noticed this surah contains the stories of a number of Prophets Ibrahim AS, Lut AS, Shuayb AS, Salih AS and Hud AS. May Allaah bless them with peace. There are warnings contained in this Surah for the wrong doers, prophets warned their people. Yet, they reminded them all of the Mercy of Allah and His forgiveness. What is so beautiful and tear jerking is how 'responsive He is' to prayers and how 'near He is'. Now today, anyone engrossed in sin, the same message applies, Allah is ready to forgive, He is near we have no excuse for not turning back to Him. He will accept true repentance. If such evil people were still given a chance, we all have a chance with sincere repentance. We will find Him responsive. He is At Tawwab and Ar Rahim. An understanding of Allah's attributes and Names is such a wonderful thing. Sometimes, we lack understanding of Allah's Mercy, if we understood His Mercy more perhaps we would look at life much more positively.

* سبحان ربنا الكريم القريب ممن دعاه دعاءَ مسألة أو دعاءَ عبادة؛ يجيبه بإعطائه سؤله، وقبول عبادته، ويثيبه عليها أجلَّ الثواب.
* رحم الله امرءًا حبَّبَ الناس إلى ربِّهم، ودعاهم إلى الرجوع إليه، وعرّفهم فضله وكرمه، وقُربِه منهم، وإجابتِه لسؤالهم.
* النّعمُ والخيرات وسيلة لتذكير أهلها بعبادة الله وحده، كما انفرد بمنته عليهم وحده.

Jazakullah Khairan dear Sis for this much-needed reminder. This is so important for us all to always keep in mind because Shaytan and his minions make many attempts to make us fall into despair in our low moments. When we fall into sin is when they appear trying to drag us further down the hole..Trying to bury us in our guilt and make us fall into despair. Alhamdulillah for his names though,Allah blessed us with his names for a reason knowing that we can't even comprehend his mercy is enough to keep us going. Knowing that all we need to do is to take that step is inspiring..Realising that out of his encompassing mercy is that he will reward us for our efforts is all the motivation we need. When we slip,we just need to make those efforts to connect back to him.. He is always there ,he is a pillar that can never shake, he is At Tawwab. May Allah reward you always,may he bless you always Sis,may he make all the beautiful gems you share beneficial to you and those loved by you. May the Qur'an always be a shining light for you and a companion for you always. Ameen Ya Allah.
