When Allah says, 'Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah', He is saying that while having full knowledge of ALL the sins you have committed. Allah knows them all and He's still telling you to never lose hope. So why would you ever think that your sins are too big for Allah to forgive? Turn to Allah.

[ قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ] 'Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'' [53] In his tafsir of this ayah, al-Qurtubi mentioned the following report: [وقال عبد الله بن عمر : وهذه أرجى آية في القرآن ] 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said, 'This is the most hope-inspiring ayah in the Qur'an'. [Jaami' li-Ahkam al-Qur'an 15/240]
