Al-Miqdâd b. al-Aswad narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: 'On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will come close to the creation until it is about a mile away from them (Sulaym b. ‘Âmir said: 'By Allah, I do not know what he means by a ‘mile.’ Is it the measure of distance on the ground, or the instrument used for applying kohl to the eye). The people will be engulfed in sweat on the basis of their deeds. Some will be up to their ankles; some will be up to their knees; some will be up to their groins; and some will be fully engulfed.' The Messenger of Allah (saws) then pointed with his hand to his mouth. [Authentic: Narrated by Muslim (2864)]

وفي هذا الإنكار والتعجيب، وكلمة الظن، ووصف اليوم بالعظيم، وقيام الناس فيه لله خاضعين، ووصف ذاته برب العالمين: بيان بليغ لعظم الذنب وتفاقم الإثم في التطفيف. القرطبي: 22/136. السؤال: إلى أي حد عظم الله تعالى ذنب التطفيف؟

قد يتمكن الظالم الجائر من تحريف الحقائق في محاكم الدنيا وأمام الخلق، لكن هيهات أن يفعل حين يقوم لأحكم الحاكمين، وربّ العرش العظيم.

أعظم مظاهر الجزاء يوم القيامة حصولُ كل ذي حق على حقه، والانتقام من كل مستبد قاهر للناس ظالم لهم.

* إن تذكُّر الآخرة وما سيقام فيها من موازين العدل يحمل الإنسان على تحري العدل في الدنيا، والحرص على إنصاف إخوانه قبل نفسه.

* يرى الإنسانُ في هذه الدنيا من صور الظلم وهضم الحقوق الكثير، وإنَّ عدل الله يقتضي أن يكون للحساب يومٌ ينتصف فيه كلُّ مظلومٍ من ظالمه.

9mo agoAl-Mutaffifin (83:4-6)

"Do such people not think that they will be raised to life on a great day, the day when all mankind shall stand before the Lord of all the worlds?" (Verses 4-6)

The attitude of the stinters that were mentioned in verse 1 is singularly strange. The mere idea of being raised to life again on that great day, when all mankind shall stand as ordinary individuals in front of the Lord of the universe, awaiting His just judgement, without support from any quarter, should be enough to make them change course. But they persist, as if the thought of being raised to life after death has never crossed their minds.
