"And forgive; wouldn't you want Allah to forgive you?"
Forgiveness. This world puts it simply as a "chance at redemption." something not guaranteed. forgiveness that can or cannot be granted. But what about as Muslims? What as individuals do we believe about forgiveness? Do we expect our tobah, half-hearted and half-sincere, to be accepted? We live and sin as frequently as we breathe. Yet our istighfar rolls off our tongue like coal. Is this really what we as Muslims should do? And forgive. Forgive how you would love Allah to forgive our seen and unseen mistakes. the ones we brush over our shoulder, scared to admit we did it. Forgive. because one day when all forgiveness will cease. It will be too late. "Forgive, wouldn't you want Allah to forgive you?"
