"We don't belong to this world. We don't choose our country, our city, our family, our relatives, or even our children. We have a family and relatives, but none of them were chosen by us. Isn't it weird? All of them were chosen for a purpose by our Creator, who knows us best. 'Your wealth and children are only a test, but Allah 'alone' has a great reward' (At-Taghabun 64:15). If we were asked to choose—our children, family, parents, and relatives—would we choose the exact same ones, or if we had the chance, would we change them?""It is clear that we weren't asked about them. Allah has chosen them, so we should be content and pleased with His choice. Otherwise, we cannot be happy. If our family and kids are good-tempered, we should thank Allah. If not, we should be patient, for they are a test for us to attain Allah's pleasure. We shouldn't complain, because this dunya is only a temporary place. We should think and live like Persian poet, Saadi Shirazi "If I tell the sorrows in my heart, it will burn my tongue. If I keep it in my heart, I'm afraid it will burn me from the inside. But if I let it out, I fear it will burn the whole world. I cannot let it out, so I let my sorrows stay inside." and leave the rest to the One who knows me best."
