Abu Sa‘eed al-Khudri narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever among you sees something objectionable, then he should change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest form of faith.' [Authentic: Narrated by Muslim (49)] Muslim narrates it from Qays b. Muslim, from Târiq b. Shihâb who said: 'The first to begin with the sermon on the Day of Eid before the prayer was Marwân. A man stood up to him and said: 'The prayer before the sermon!' He said: 'That was abandoned.' Abu Sa‘eed said: 'This man has fulfilled his duty. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say…' (and he mentioned the hadith).
