The story of the two garden owners teach us to not be arrogant of our blessings, as they are worldly things and they will perish. There's nothing wrong with being happy about having many things in this world, but it is important not to let it enter our hearts and cause us to lead ourselves astray, pursuing more things in this world. Rather, we should be thankful of them and acknowledge their temporal nature. This story, paired with the scene of seeing the book of deeds on Judgement Day teach us to use these blessings in a way that pleases our Lord. Knowing our deeds are being recorded in detail teaches us accountability and cultivates our taqwa, and how can one with taqwa abuse the blessings

Patience is an attribute heavily praised by Allah. Giving up a bad habit or anything that leads to sin for the sake of Allah is definitely not easy, especially if it is something that we have been struggling for a very long time. Allah reminds us that just like how the Muhajireen were rewarded for their patience when they migrated for His sake, we will be rewarded for our patience as well, in this world and the Hereafter. May Allah grant us that beautiful patience and may Allah reward the patient.

When you give up something for the sake of Allah, Allah always replaces it with something better. What's amazing is that Allah has even promised a greater reward for His obedient servants in the Hereafter. This should encourage us to give up whatever bad habits we have, hoping and expecting that Allah will replace that bad habit with something much better in this life and even better in the Hereafter. May Allah make it easy for us to give up these bad habits and facilitate the process of coming back to Him.

The Straight Path that Allah mentions has to be followed. It is thoroughly explained in the Quran and Sunnah how to lead a life following this Path. 10:24 teaches us the temporal nature of this world and how we should not make anything in this world an end goal. We should use what we have in this world as tools and vehicles that will help us lead a life following this Straight Path.
