The truly pious people are the people who believe. Piety isn't a special virtue of any specific group of believers. This kind of piety is not the like just doing good deeds, or being humble in front of Allah (SWT) (e.g. in prayer). Piety is a virtue that runs throughout the ranks of real faith (there is a reason behind why Allah (SWT) has not reserved this special word for one group of believers). Characteristics of piety: ⚡Believing in the unseen ⚡Praying on time ⚡Believing in Allah (SWT)'s revelations to his Prophets/Messengers ⚡Spending what wealth Allah (SWT) has given you in charity and zakat ⚡Believing in the hereafter Jazakallah Khair! Ramadan Mubarak!

Ramadan Reflection Day 16: Repelling Evil with Good: Doing good to one who does wrong to you is one of the highest form of noble qualities. The Prophet (PBUH) said 'From the honorable character is for one to show forgiveness to the one who wrongs him, to give the one who deprives him, to keep contact with the one who cuts him off and to visit the sick one who does not visit him (when he is sick). Jazakallah Khair. Ramadan Mubarak

Ramadan Reflection Day 15: Balance: Islam encourages balance in all aspects of life. Moderation is preferred rather than extremes, even in worship. The Prophet (PBUH) explained that it was okay to stand up in prayer at night and to sleep at night also. To fast some days and to not fast some days. He said 'As for me, I pray and I sleep, I fast and I open my fast, I laugh and I cry. So the one who forsakes my ways and my sunnah is not from me.' Jazakallah Khair. Ramadan Mubarak.

Ramadan Reflection Day 14: Generosity: The Prophet (PBUH) was the most generous of people. Neither a dinar or a dirham was left with him in the evening but that he gave it away If night fell and he had something extra and did not find anyone to give it to, he would not come home until he found someone who needed it. He didn't take from what was given to him by Allah (SWT) except his annual provisions, from the dates and barley that were the easiest for him to get. He gave the rest in the way of Allah (SWT). Jazakallah Khair. Ramadan Mubarak.

Ramdan Reflection Day 13: Awe of Allah (SWT): Awe of Allah (SWT) from realization of His greatness and absolute control over all things. The more we understand the Majesty of Allah (SWT), the more in awe of Him we become. The Prophet (PBUH) showed the awe he had for Allah (SWT) in the way he wept when the verses of Quran were recited before him, the way he waited for salaah times, and the way he spent long hours in worship. When he was asked about the intensity of worship when he already had a great status with Allah (SWT), he replied that he wanted to be a worthy and thankful servant.

Ramadan Reflection Day 12: Simplicity: Living in a simple way helps the believers stay humble and focused on the things that actually matter. The Prophet (PBUH) liked simplicity in all things, and would refuse to live like the lavish kings of his time. He repaired his shoes, patched his clothes, ate on the ground and sat like a servant. He would ride on an unsaddled donkey and would often seat someone besides him whenever he rode.

Ramadan Reflection Day 11: Love for Allah (SWT)'s Remembrance: The ones who love Allah (SWT) enjoy His remembrance. These people's best times are spent in deep remembrance of Allah (SWT). The Prophet (PBUH) looked forward to the remembrance of Allah (SWT). He has said: ' I have been patient with regards to myself, my family and my reputation, but I do not have patience when it comes to the remembrance of my Lord (SWT).' Jazakallah Khair. Ramadan Reflection Day 10: Walk what you Talk: To put your words into action is a very crucial part of a person's faith. There isn't any worth in talk that is not implemented in the talker's life. The Prophet (PBUH) was an excellent model and practiced everything that he preached, in all of the aspects of life. When he encouraged the Muslims to fight against enemies, he himself would fully participate. Jazakallah Khair. Ramadan Mubarak.

The Benefit of Ayatul Kursi when recited in the morning: When a person recites Ayatul Kursi in the morning will be protected from Satan and the jinns until he sleeps at evening. When a person recites at evening, they will be protected until morning.

Ramadan Reflection Day 9: Good Communication: Communicating well is an extremely valuable skill in maintaining (and forming) good relationships. It comes with knowing when to speak, and how to speak to affect the listener. The Prophet (PBUH) was very articulate and had a respectful and soft style of communication. Whenever he spoke, the people were mesmerized and motionless with awe. They became silent.

'Not finding' does not mean 'non-existent'. Science, with all of it's discoveries and researches, has never came even close to 'a soul'. This is because it is science only studies 'material' things. That goes for things that are visible with a certain tool as well. Science CANNOT say that souls don't exist, because science is based on proof, and that is not always sight or any of the five senses. Science can simply say that it didn't FIND a soul.

Great comparison. This is why we must 'believe' in the unseen, because despite its certain existence, no matter how much you try, you'll never be able to 'see' it with any of your bodily senses.

Ramadan Reflection Day 8: Not Seeking a Position of Honor: To sit wherever there is a place in a gathering is highly recommended as a sign of humility and a lack of ego. The Prophet (PBUH) never reserved a specific seat for himself and forbade others to do that. When he arrived at gatherings, he would sit wherever there was a place and he enjoined others to do the same. He gave a chance to all those who were sitting with him, without giving preference to one person over the other one because he held him in greater esteem. When someone would come to sit with him, would would remain patiently seated until the person stood up and left.

Ramadan Reflection Day 6: Good Relationships: The Prophet (PBUH) maintained pleasant relationships with people. He was affable with them and wouldn't alienate them. He honored the honorable of every community and would make them in charge of their affairs. He was careful not to be impolite or turn away from anyone, frowning. He would seek to know about the condition of his companions and would ask people about the condition of others (like their relatives or neighbors). Jazakallah Khair. Ramadan Mubarak.

Ramadan Reflection Day 5: Organized with time: It is narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) divided his time well. When he entered his house he would divide his time into three parts: A part for Allah (SWT), a part for his family and a part for himself. He would then divide his own time between himself and his people, keeping a portion for his special companions and the other portion for the general public. This is how he was able to serve society so well!

Ramadan Reflection Day 3: Standing up for others: The Prophet (PBUH) was quick to support those who were treated unjustly. When someone's rights were usurped, he would become so angry that no person would recognize him (HE WOULD NOT EXPLODE OF COURSE!). Nothing would stand in his way until he had helped the person get back their rights. He urged the Muslims to detest injustice with the heart and speak against it with the tongue. Jazakallah Khair. Thank you for sharing your reflection on Surah Ibrahim, verse 34. Your reflection on the importance of gratitude and the beautiful examples from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is truly inspirational. Gratitude is a fundamental aspect of faith in Islam, and your reflection highlights how the Prophet (PBUH) embodied this quality in his daily life. It serves as a reminder for all of us to be thankful for the blessings, big or small, that we receive from Allah (SWT). May we all strive to cultivate an attitude of gratitude like the Prophet (PBUH) and continuously praise and thank Allah in all situations. Ramadan Mubarak to you as well. Keep up the excellent reflections and contributions to the QuranReflect community. JazakAllah Khair.
