Allah delivers us to victory on His timing, not ours. Yet, in the thick of the hardship -- long before victory arrives, -- as we toil through the pains of loss and the struggle for triumph, Allah gifts us with ease. It may come in the form of helpers and support from sources and people we least expect. It may be a sustained flow of provision, so that we need not worry about this in the heat of the battle. It may be serenity He sends into our hearts, so that at least we are not churning internally as the world around us is. While we fight tirelessly for victory, we should take a moment to examine the eases Allah has embedded into our hardships, and turn to Him with gratitude for them. And

When Allah sends us hardship, He gives us an incredible gift. When we are in hardship, we learn about ourselves like no other time. We learn our growth areas, our grit, and our capacity. This holds a value we cannot quantify because knowing yourself is the first and most crucial step to improving yourself, being of benefit to others, and getting closer to your Creator. Hardship also exposes to us the mercies and eases we have already embedded into our lives that we have taken for granted. Maybe in this immense hardship, a friend shows you kindness and support, which you wouldn't have expected. Allah's mercy may also come hand-in-hand with hardship, as it forces you to let go of the many th

Another great point masha'Allah on hardship and ease. I completely agree that, through hardships, we learn about ourselves more, and that knowing ourselves is the first step to improving ourselves. And hardships do expose the things that we take for granted. Jazakallahu khair for sharing this.

ALLAH tests those whom He loves. ALLAH never put burden on His slaves beyond their endurance.

Trees, when autumn comes they shed their leaves and become a barren tree but they still stands as firm on their place not falling nor dying with their strong roots. And then when the blossom of spring touches them, their leaves begins to grow green and become thick n dense and tall having fruits again.

The same way sometimes, when ALLAH send any trial or hardship to His slave, and that person may become like that barren tree. But if he have strong iman in his Rabb standing firm having strong roots of 'La ilaha illa ALLAH' , not letting himself to fall nor die and just waiting for the spring wave

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful, I was checking in on a friend and sister from Turkiye and so I asked about her family and her countrymen. She replied that she felt ‘ashamed’ that she was sleeping in a warm house whilst so many people are suffering and have died. I paused and I thought what can I answer to that? as just like the most of us I have been feeling this sense of ‘guilt’ and I cannot imagine her feelings. Yet, it occurred to me that tests are not only for those who go through hardship (of course these are huge tests) but tests are also for those who are in the period of comfort and ease. We too are being tested! When we see our ummah and any

Allah (swt) tells us in a very profound ayah: 'Verily. With hardship comes ease.' (Quran, 94:5). Growing up I think I understood this ayah wrongly. I used to think it meant: after hardship comes ease. In other words I thought life was made up of good times and bad times. After the bad times, comes the good times. But that is not what the ayah is saying. The ayah is saying *with* hardship comes ease. The ease is at the same time as the hardship. This means that nothing in this life is ever all bad (or all good). In every bad situation we're in, there is always something to be grateful for. With hardship, Allah also gives us the strength and patience to bear it. (This is an excerpt from my

And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair. [30:36] The beauty in this Ayah lies in the difference between إذا and إن إذا - 'WHEN' or 'WHENEVER' - used to indicate the high frequency of occurrence إن - 'IF' - to indicate the possibility of happening As human beings in the test of life, we experience different moments in this worldly life, some are sad, some are happy; some moments are filled with mercy from Allah, and some are loaded with trials and tribulations. However: we tend to over-exaggerate the sad part, the tribulations; we think they are everywhere, and we feel

Indeed with the hardship comes an ease! With the (same) hardship comes an (another) ease--94:5-6 That's two 'eases' with every hardship!

‘Uqbah b. ‘Âmir narrates: While I was driving the Messenger of Allah (saws) through one of those narrow passages, he said to me: 'O ‘Uqbah b. ‘Âmir, should you not ride?' I held the Messenger of Allah (saws) too high in regard to ride in his stead, but he again said: 'O ‘Uqbah b. ‘Âmir, should you not ride?' I then feared that it would be insubordination, so the Messenger of Allah (saws) descended, and I rode for a short time. He rode again, and then he said: 'O ‘Uqbah b. ‘Âmir, may I teach you two of the best surahs that the people recite?' I said: 'Of course, O Messenger of Allah!' He then taught me to recite Surahs al-Falaq and an-Nâs. The call to establish the prayer was made, and th
