You lose your connection with Allah.

You wonder why you lost concentration in Salah.

You wonder why you are drowning in guilt, misery, shame, lack of confidence.

An-Nu‘mân b. Basheer narrates: The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The one who abides by Allah’s boundaries and the one who falls into them are comparable to people who draw lots on a bout. Some get the top, while others get the bottom. When those on the bottom get thirsty, they pass by those above them and say: ‘We should poke holes in our section and not bother those above us.’ If they let them do what they want, they will all perish, but if they hold their hands back, they will prosper, and they will all prosper together.' Abu Sa‘eed al-Khudri narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever among you sees something objectionable, then he should change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest form of faith.' [Authentic: Narrated by Muslim (49)] Muslim narrates it from Qays b. Muslim, from Târiq b. Shihâb who said: 'The first to begin with the sermon on the Day of Eid before the prayer was Marwân. A man stood up to him and said: 'The prayer before the sermon!' He said: 'That was abandoned.' Abu Sa‘eed said: 'This man has fulfilled his duty. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say…' (and he mentioned the hadith).

Jareer b. Abdullah narrates that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah at the start of the day when there came to him some people who were barefoot, naked, and wearing striped woolen clothes or cloaks, with swords hanging from their necks. Most of them were from Mudhar - rather, all of them were from Mudhar. The face of the Messenger of Allah (saws) changed when he saw they were impoverished. So he entered [his house], and then came out. He ordered Bilal, who then made the call [to prayer] and the call of the establishment [of the prayer]. Abdullah b. Mas‘ood said: 'Allah cursed the tattoo artist and those who get tattoos, the women who have hair removed from their faces, and those who wedge a space between their teeth for beauty, changing the creation of Allah.' This reached a woman from Banu Asad named Umm Ya‘qoob, so she came and said: 'It has reached me that you cursed this person and that person.' He said: 'Why would I not curse someone whom the Messenger of Allah (saws) cursed, and which is in the book of Allah.' She said: 'I have read what it between the two tablets, but I did not find what you said.' He responded: 'If you had indeed read it, you would have found it. Did you not read: Whatever the Messenger gives yo
