Somehow, Ayah 95 from Surah As-Saffat took my thoughts to AI. Human beings created AI… and then, in some ways, began to worship it. Some seek no help except from AI. Some seek advice only from AI. Some talk to AI more than they talk to people. Some will not trust anything unless AI confirms it. And now… some have even begun to fear AI. Believe me, we would be far happier and safer if we truly feared Allah AI was created as a tool. Never allow yourself to become the tool. Never forget Who created us.

A Mercy to All the Worlds "And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to all the worlds." — Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:107 Some verses inform us of a fact. Others hold an entire universe inside a single breath. This is the second kind. The scholar Ibn Ashour, in his tafsir At-Tahrir wal-Tanwir, noticed something remarkable about these words. Strip the verse down and it holds just twenty-four Arabic letters — yet within that small space, he counted twelve distinct layers of meaning. But the deepest insight isn't about eloquence. It's about grammar. Imam Ibn Ashour explained a hidden grammar secret that can give the word رحمة "mercy" here. The Prophet ﷺ is grammatically bound to this d
...As we welcome a new Hijri year, my thoughts turn to the first Muhajir in the path of Allah: Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him. When he left his homeland, his people, and everything familiar for the sake of Allah, he uttered a statement that still inspires hearts today whenever we read the Ayah: إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ "Indeed, I am emigrating to my Lord. Indeed, He is the Almighty, the Most Wise." (29:26) What beautiful words. إني مهاجر إلى ربي I am going to my Lord. Leaving behind what displeases Him and moving toward what pleases Him. إنه هو العزيز He is the Almighty. Nothing is beyond His power. Whatever we leave for His sake, He is fully able
...Yesterday, during a beautiful session about Salah, one verse stopped me and stayed with me long after the session ended: "رَّبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ" "Our Lord, so that they may establish prayer." (Surah Ibrahim, 14:37) This is part of the famous Duaa of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) after he left his wife Hajar and his infant son Ismail in a barren desert without water, food, people, wealth, or any visible means of support. Imagine that moment. A father leaving his beloved family in the middle of nowhere. Yet among all the concerns that could have occupied his heart, one concern stood above the rest: Salah. It is as if Prophet Ibrahim knew that when Salah is established, everyth
...Hajj ends. The pilgrim returns home. The crowds disappear. The talbiyah fades. What remains? Salah. It is no coincidence that the final call in Surat Al-Hajj, before the scene of Hajj comes to a close, is a call to Salah. And it is no coincidence that Salah was also among the final words of the Prophet ﷺ before he left this world. Allah closes the scene of Hajj, one of the greatest journeys a believer can make, with a call to Salah. As if to say: the journey does not end when you return home. It continues five times a day, on your prayer mat, until you reach Jannah. And it is no coincidence that Salah begins with الله أكبر (Allahu Akbar), the same words that fill the valleys of Makkah and ec
...I have been deeply captivated by this Ayah for many days. I decided to revisit what the scholars said about its Tafseer, and one of the beautiful reflections I found was from Imam Ibn Ashur in his Tafseer: “What that arrogant disbeliever received of wealth and blessings came only through outward efforts and worldly means. It was not given as a special care, honor, or blessing from Allah. Therefore, it was not truly good, and its final result became evil for him.” May Allah SWT keep us under His care and support. May He protect us from every belief or thought that misguides us from the truth. Ameen.
Read this Ayah as slowly as you can.. Read it again and again.. And pray with me: O Allah يا حق, bless us with the certainty that everything besides You is fleeting, and it is either without true reality or without lasting permanence. O Allah يا من هو خيرٌ ثواباً, bless us with the certainty that Your reward is pure and everlasting, untouched by any harm, while the reward of others is either deceptive and leading to pain, or temporary and fading away. O Allah يا من هو خيرٌ عقبا, bless us with the certainty that the outcome of a believer’s affairs is always خير, even when it differs from what we expected or strove for. وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم آمين آمين والحمد لله رب الع

Seeds of Goodness for the Month of Goodness
“Whoever performs a good deed, We will increase it for them in goodness. Indeed, Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative.”
Do not stand in regret because you did not complete the Qur’an every three days, or because you did not spend the entire night in prayer, or build a mosque, or sponsor an orphan.
Do not linger on the edge of deprivation, staring at distant deeds you could not reach.
Instead, look at the space of what is possible for you.
You may recite—even if only a few pages—with reflection and a humble heart. You may pray—even if only a few sincere
...A limited Number of Days Today is the 17th of Ramadan. Do you feel how quickly the days are passing? Ramadan reminds us of our own lives. A limited number of days… Short and fast… So, how can we put Barakah in these limited days In Ramadan and in our lives? Start with one small practice: the mindful pause. Before you speak, pause. Before you act, pause. Ask yourself: Will this word or action bring me closer to Jannah or further away from it? Dear brothers and sisters, we don’t have any other choice. Our final destination is clear: either Paradise or Hellfire. Every word and every step is a choice. So choose wisely. Our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught our mother A
...Five years ago, the world faced the COVID-19 trail. We navigate another season of global uncertainty. It is important to have the right mindset, values, and rituals, such as Taqwa, patience, peace, and Salah, then act or react accordingly, especially during hard times. And remember, when the earth shakes, the hearts remain steady by the Quran: “Say, [O Muhammad]: The Holy Spirit has brought it [The Quran] down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to those who submit [to Allah].” (Surat An-Nahl 102) May Allah SWT protect everyone and fill our lives with faith and peace. Ameen.
Imam Al-Qurtubi (may Allah have mercy on him) mentions in his Tafsir that the Day of Judgment is called the Day of Mutual Loss (At-Taghabun) because on that Day the true losses will be revealed: the loss of the disbeliever for abandoning faith, and the believer’s loss for falling short in excellence and wasting precious days. “The believer’s loss for Falling Short in Excellence” is a pause we must reflect on deeply before it is too late. If we were to stand before Allah today, would we be proud of how we lived our days, or would we wish we had striven harder for Ihsan (Excellence)? May Allah SWT forgive our shortcomings, and make us all among the people of faith and excellence. Ameen.
We are experiencing a snowy storm and severe winter cold. Yet there are other storms we face in life—trials that shake us from within and threaten the heart itself. Just as we wear clothes to protect our bodies from the cold and to cover our physical shame, our hearts also need protection. Taqwa is the garment of the soul. It covers our spiritual shame, guards us from corruption, and steadies us during life’s storms. May Allah ﷻ clothe our hearts with Taqwa and make us among the people of true piety. May Allah keep us all safe and sound physically and spiritually. Ameen
The rhythm of modern life is so fast that we often move without awareness, paying attention unconsciously to what some people consciously design using psychology and science to influence us.
The Qur’an invites us to slow down and reflect, not only on the Ayat, but also on the creations around us. I try not to take what I see around me for granted. Everything Allah created and places in my path carries a divine message, and each appears at precisely the right time.
In Surah Al‑Māʾidah, Allah sent a crow that scratched the earth to show how to bury the dead body in the story of Adam’s (PBUH) children. This scene carries a moral lesson and guidance for humanity until the end of time. So pay a

A few days ago, I was at a drive-through car wash. The line was long, which gave me an extra minute to reflect. For the first time, I really read the sign next to the tunnel: Follow the instructions Shift to Neutral (N) Feet off Pedals Hands off Steering Deactivate Auto Sensors Subhan Allah. It immediately reminded me of Ayat 2 and 3 from Surat At-Talaq. Isn’t this exactly what we are asked to do when we enter the tunnels of life? Follow the instructions of Allah, for He says: “And whoever attains Taqwa and fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.” (ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب) Shift to neutral; return to your Fitrah
...Ibn Ashur, may Allah have mercy on him, beautifully said while explaining this Ayah: 'It is only right to praise Allah when oppressors are destroyed, for their destruction brings righteousness to the people, and righteousness is one of the greatest blessings. Gratitude for blessings is a duty upon us. This praise is an expression of gratitude, for it acknowledges the blessing of justice being restored. The downfall of oppressors is a form of rectification because oppression distorts rights and disrupts adherence to divine law. When truth and justice are corrupted, destruction and chaos prevail, leaving people’s lives in disarray. But when the oppressors are eradicated, justice is restored, a
...For your Lord, be patient. As a leader, you need to be patient when striving to change society. The patience Allah asks of us is the kind rooted in seeking His pleasure. While you work to be resilient and patient in achieving a noble goal, remember not to do so merely to keep yourself strong, to gain respect, to maintain a relationship, or for any worldly reason along the way. This is a different perspective: you are patient because this life is a test. Your patience and gratitude are a means to pass this test with excellence (Ihsan) so that you may meet Allah while He is pleased with you. Sometimes, even with Sabr, you may not achieve what you want in this world. But you will ce
...How can we allow doubt to fill our hearts, knowing that Allah, the Owner of Majesty and Honor, swore four times to assure us of His promises? How disgraceful it is if we still choose to doubt!
He is Allah, Kind in His power, and Mighty in His kindness هو الله، لطيفٌ في قوَّته، عزيزٌ في لطفه. As you plan for the week ahead, after Bismillah, hold this Ayah close to your heart: 'Allah is Ever Kind to His servants. He provides ˹abundantly˺ to whomever He wills. And He is the All-Powerful, Almighty.' — Surat Ash-Shura, Ayah 19. No matter how challenging the road, Allah, the All-Powerful, the Almighty, is supporting us as we strive to fulfill our intentions and plans. Whatever unfolds, His kindness is always at work—guiding, protecting, and sustaining. May Allah (SWT) fill our hearts with deep trust and faith.
وألزمهم كلمة التقوى وكانوا أحق بها وأهلها They were better entitled and more worthy of it. O people of the Quran, have you ever heard a more beautiful testimony from the Lord of the universe? I haven’t. I know that Allah praised the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) in many Ayat, but this one is my favorite. When we clear our hearts of everything but Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), only then do we become deserving of this honor. Ya Allah, please make us among those who embody sincerity and Taqwa and make us truly worthy of it. Ameen
Today marks the beginning of a new Hijri year, a time of reflection and renewal. Although the Prophet (PBUH) did not emigrate from Mecca to Madina in Muharram, the memory of this month lies in its Arabic name, Hijri, derived from the word 'Hijrah,' meaning migration. It symbolizes the profound journey of the Prophet (PBUH) and imparts invaluable lessons for us to learn. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim said: 'The Struggle in the way of Allah (Jihad) is not complete without migration. Migration and jihad are not complete without faith. Those who seek Allah's mercy are those who fulfill these three. As the Quran states, 'Those who believe, and those who migrate and struggle in the way of Allah, they can
